During my tenure as a Process Engineer at JRK Corporation (India) from May to August 2022, I played a pivotal role in integrating Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) elements into engineering designs. Using tools like AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS, I meticulously crafted precise technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and precision throughout the design phase. As a process engineer, I took charge of overseeing the design process for STP projects, aligning our work seamlessly with client specifications, and providing expert consultation to exceed their requirements.
Simultaneously, I managed the deployment of machinery at project sites, emphasizing flawless installation and strict adherence to project requirements. This was particularly crucial in STP projects, where the seamless integration of equipment and systems was paramount for success. In addition to design and deployment, I also assumed responsibility for managing turnkey projects from initiation to completion. This included coordinating activities, implementing stringent quality control measures, and addressing challenges, ensuring the seamless execution of STP projects, and delivering exceptional results to our clients.
TaylorMade Renewables (January 2022 to April 2022)
During my internship at TaylorMade Renewables spanning from January 2022 to April 2022, I assumed a pivotal role in the creation of meticulous technical drawings utilizing advanced design software such as AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS. My responsibilities were centred on ensuring the precise representation of intricate engineering designs and specifications, employing these sophisticated tools to contribute to the development of comprehensive visual documentation for various projects. This technical drawing expertise played a critical role in facilitating effective communication among the engineering team and external stakeholders, fostering a shared understanding of intricate design details and specifications.
In addition to my proficiency in technical drawing, I actively engaged in the hands-on deployment and supervision of machinery at designated sites, overseeing the installation process to guarantee strict adherence to project requirements and engineering standards. This multifaceted role allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios, ensuring the seamless integration of machinery into operational environments. Furthermore, my responsibilities extended to conducting exhaustive vendor research and analysis, identifying and proposing new suppliers for critical chemicals and materials. This strategic initiative not only contributed significantly to cost optimization but also enhanced the resilience of the supply chain, underscoring my commitment to the efficient and technically sound execution of projects at TaylorMade Renewables.
JRK Corporation (India) (August 2021 to December 2021)
During my internship as a Process Engineer at JRK Corporation (India) from August to December 2021, I wasn’t just creating technical drawings for Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) with design software – I was actively involved in the entire process. I collaborated with the team to ensure designs matched client specifications, offered valuable insights during consultations, and even assisted in directing and participating in machinery deployment at assigned sites. Flawless installation and strict adherence to project requirements were paramount, especially for STPs, where meticulous attention to detail was crucial for seamless equipment integration.
Beyond design and deployment, I also contributed to managing major pre-built projects. Under the guidance of the process engineering team, I participated in overseeing the entire installation process from start to finish. This included coordinating activities, upholding quality control, and addressing challenges that arose during STP project implementation. This experience solidified my dedication to comprehensive project management and execution.
Klockner Desma Machinery Private Limited (June 2021 to July 2021)
During my internship at Klockner Desma Machinery Private Limited from June 2021 to July 2021, I spearheaded a comprehensive value stream mapping (VSM) analysis focused on the clamp unit. This strategic initiative aimed to meticulously identify and eliminate non-value-adding activities within the production process, thereby enhancing operational efficiency. Leveraging my analytical prowess, I implemented a series of process improvements, encompassing workflow streamlining, optimization of inventory management protocols, and the establishment of standardized procedures. These measures collectively led to a notable 5% reduction in clamp assembly time, demonstrating the tangible impact of VSM-driven optimizations on production throughput.
In addition to my technical contributions, my role extended to close collaboration with the production team, showcasing strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Working collaboratively, I ensured the seamless implementation of the identified process enhancements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the clamp assembly unit. This experience not only underscored the practical application of lean methodologies but also highlighted the importance of effective communication and teamwork in achieving tangible operational improvements in a manufacturing setting.
Apson Motor (India) Private Limited (June 2021 to July 2021)
During my part-time internship at Apson Motor Private Limited spanning from October 2020 to May 2021, my primary role centred around the comprehensive management of production processes within the factory. Undertaking a meticulous assessment of the existing production methods, I employed a systematic approach to identify areas for improvement and potential cost savings. This technical evaluation formed the basis for the development and implementation of an optimized production process, wherein I strategically incorporated both conventional and advanced techniques to enhance productivity and streamline overall operations.
In addition to process optimization, I spearheaded the formulation and execution of cost-reduction strategies that targeted the efficient utilization of machinery and labour resources. Leveraging technical insights, I ensured the maximization of machinery efficiency, minimizing downtime and optimizing output. This strategic deployment of resources not only aligned with industry best practices but also contributed significantly to the achievement of overarching financial objectives. My tenure at Apson Motor Private Limited showcased a comprehensive and technically driven approach to operational efficiency, highlighting my proficiency in strategic decision-making within the dynamic landscape of production environments.
